Mr. Maddox has a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law and obtained his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Middlebury College. While attending the University of Denver, Mr. Maddox was Editor-in-Chief of the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy, a member of the Law Review and President of the International Law Society.

Jeffrey Maddox is a corporate finance lawyer with more than 30 years of experience representing corporate and government issuers, underwriters and investors on a broad range of public and private financings. Mr. Maddox’s extensive capital markets experience includes initial public offerings, private placements, high yield and investment grade debt offerings, private equity fundraising, project financings and asset securitizations. Mr. Maddox has significant infrastructure experience, having advised on many of the largest deals in the power, road, airport, mining, oil and gas and water sectors in Asia over the last 25 years. At WGL, Mr. Maddox is involved in project financings for a variety of infrastructure projects, including biosolids treatment, rural broadband build-out, hospitality, among others.
