Education
Mr. Colton earned his B.A. in History from the University of Michigan. He earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Roger Williams University School of Law. While attending Roger Williams, Mr. Colton served as a member of the Editorial Staff of the Roger Williams University Law Review and received recognition for providing over three hundred and fifty hours of Pro Bono services.

Andrew B. Colton concentrates his practice in municipal law; however, he draws from experience in both the public and private sectors. With a background in administrative and environmental law, Mr. Colton provides legal advice to various public entities, ranging from municipalities to other public agencies, corporations, and authorities.
Prior to joining West Group Law, Mr. Colton served in Rhode Island’s Office of the Attorney General as a legal intern and extern and gained additional experience in the private sector as clerk for a law firm in Southfield, Michigan.
