Courtney Bayon is an attorney at West Group Law, where her practice focuses on advising public entities in the areas of municipal infrastructure, public procurement, and environmental compliance. She counsels clients through all phases of complex public works projects, including project delivery planning, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory permitting, and risk management.

Ms. Bayon is admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, and brings a multidisciplinary background to her legal work. She regularly assists public entities in navigating regulatory frameworks related to water, wastewater, solid waste, and other infrastructure, as well as environmental review under state and federal law.

Prior to joining West Group Law, Ms. Bayon served as an Assistant District Attorney, where she gained valuable litigation experience conducting hearings and trials and managing evidentiary matters. She also has prior experience in environmental and toxic tort litigation, as well as complex civil disputes, which informs her approach to advising public clients on risk mitigation and dispute resolution.

In addition to her legal degree, Ms. Bayon holds a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School and a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island.
