At WGL, Mr. Maddox is involved in project financings for a variety of infrastructure projects, including biosolids treatment, rural broadband build-out and hospitality, among others.

“We are very pleased to welcome Jeff to the firm and add another core component to our growing infrastructure practice.  As our projects become more sophisticated and financings utilize different types of public and private funding techniques, we believe Jeff’s expertise will be highly beneficial for our clients,” said WGL Managing Partner Teno West.

“I am very excited to be a part of West Group Law, with its focus on key infrastructure projects in the Northeast and marquee government clients.  I look forward to working with the talented team here,” said Jeff Maddox.

Lee Apotheker joins the White Plains office and returns to WGL after several years serving as in-house counsel for a health care organization.  Mr. Apotheker concentrates his practice in the areas of municipal infrastructure projects, litigation, contract procurement, water and wastewater law, solid waste management, design-build and design-build-operate projects, and other alternative delivery projects. Mr. Apotheker has litigated a diverse array of matters, including mechanic’s liens, bid and proposal protests, challenges to governmental or agency determinations, construction claims, and insurance claims.

“We started this firm five years ago with the goal of providing exceptional legal services to our public clients on a cost-effective basis.  Five years later, we continue to provide valuable legal services based on our unparalleled municipal infrastructure experience.  With the addition of our new attorneys and new offices, we look forward to continuing to provide top-notch legal services to our public clients,” said Managing Partner Teno West.
